I really have to laugh at one comment that I keep hearing from Democrats. That comment is that Republicans are committing "political suicide" if they don't vote for this stimulus bill. In the same vein, I keep hearing Democrats say that Republicans are going to have to do a lot of explaining the next time they go to their home districts after having not voted for this bill.
Wow! Since when were Democrats so caring about Republicans losing their political futures? What a bunch of political hogwash that is. The last thing that Democrats ever want to do is save any Republican from losing their job. It just proves what I have always said. They will need the cover of bipartisanship in order to save their political you-know-whats when it is ultimately proven that this bill didn't save or create the jobs that Obama claims it will.
