Just so people don't think I am not being fair to Obama, I should report the good as well as the bad when it comes to his Presidency.
In the last two days Obama has had a significant uptick in his polling numbers at Gallup. After having seen a low approval rating of 50% and high disapproval rate 44%, Obama is now sitting with a 55% approval and only 39% disapproval.
I really think that since the White House announced the elimination of the Public Option in health care reform, he has regained some of his lost support. However, it should also be pointed out that I am not seeing the same rebound in the Rasmussen poll; so, Gallup might just be an anomaly. We'll have to wait and see.
